Configuring the comparison for Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert

  1. Open the Comparison configuration dialog.

  2. If there are several projects in a component, select the corresponding project from the dropdown menu.

  3. Enter the Application password for this project.
  4. Select OK to confirm.

The Application password is optional. However, if you choose to use it, you must configure the appropriate settings both in the Schneider EcoStruxure Control Export Security editor and in the component configuration. This ensures successful upload and comparison.

To set up this additional security, follow these steps:

  1. In the Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert editor, open the Policies tab and enable Security options with login.

  2. After enabling login security, go to the Users and User Information tabs to create or select a Username.

    1. Assign a password and grant the necessary rights to Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert functions under Profile(s) in the Users tab. This setup allows the specified user to perform uploads.

  3. In the AdminClient, go to the Global settings module and open the Schneider Security Editor tab.

  4. Enter the same Username and Password to ensure successful integration.
