Uninstallation

You can uninstall the octoplant hub using the octoplanthub.exe file. Alternatively, you can uninstall the octoplant hub directly under Add or remove programs.

Prerequisites

  • If you have made changes to the config.yml file that you would like to keep, copy the file to another directory.

  • Uninstall PostgreSQL 14 with Add or remove programs:

  • Delete the octoplanthub and the postgresqlhub folders.

Procedure

  1. Execute the octoplanthub.exe application.

  2. The octoplant hub Setup wizard is started.

  3. Select Uninstall.

  4. The uninstallation process will begin.

  5. Once the uninstall process has successfully completed, select Close.

  6. Check to ensure that the installation directory, e.g. C:\Programme\AUVESY-MDT\octoplanthub and, in particular the config.yml file no longer exists.
