Managing authorizations

  1. In the User management module, select the user whose permissions you want to manage.
  2. In the Details column, select the Figure: octoplant hub menu button.
  3. A context menu will then open. Select the Permissions entry in the context menu.

  4. The Permissions for {user} dialog will then open.

  5. Here you can assign Administrative rights, rights for the System Cockpit, Admin Cockpit and Log monitoring modules and for individual servers that are created in the system.

    Administrators generally have access to all modules and servers. If you select the Administrator checkbox, the other checkboxes are automatically checked and grayed out so that they can no longer be unchecked individually.

  6. Confirm your settings with Save.
