Registering with myAMDT

At a glance

• Two registration options: Register with your license and Register as guest
• Email confirmation is required to activate your account.

• On your first login, choose your preferred sign-in method:

  • MFA with OTP app
  • MFA via email
  • No MFA (not recommended)

• If you register with a license, enter the Serial Number and Issue Date & Time exactly as shown in the license file.

Getting started with registration

1. Open the myAMDT landing page and select Sign-up.

   

2. From the User Registration screen, choose one of the following:

   

   • Register with your license – use this option if your company owns an octoplant license and you have the license details.
   • Register as guest – use this option if you want to explore myAMDT and attach a license later.

Option A — Registering as guest

1. Complete the Personal information section: Enter your First name, Last name, and Country. (Optional: Telephone, Company, Website)
2. In the Credentials section, enter your Email, create a Password, and confirm it.
3. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions (required).
4. (Optional) Opt in to receive marketing information.
5. Complete the CAPTCHA, then select Create profile now.
6. Check your email inbox and confirm your email address to activate the account.

First login (MFA choice)

After confirming your email, sign in and choose one of the following authentication methods:

• MFA with OTP app (recommended for optimal security and minimal interruptions)
• MFA via email
• Disable MFA (not recommended)

Option B — Registering with an existing license

1. Complete the Personal information and Country fields as described above.

2. Under License information, enter:

   • Serial Number (license number)

     No trailing spaces

     Ensure there are no trailing spaces; these are not automatically removed and will cause validation errors.

   • Serial number issue date and time exactly as shown in your license file

     Tip

     Select How to find my license information? for guidance.

   Time format warning

   The license file uses a 24-hour format. Depending on your locale, the form may display time in 12-hour (AM/PM) format.

   Ensure the entered time matches the 24-hour value (e.g., 13:30 → 1:30 PM).

3. In the Credentials section, enter your Email, create a Password, and confirm it.

4. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions (required).
5. (Optional) Opt in to receive marketing information.
6. Complete the CAPTCHA, then select Create profile now.
7. Check your email inbox and confirm your email address to activate the account.

Troubleshooting

Didn’t receive the confirmation email?

• Check your Spam/Junk folder.
• Verify the email address entered and request a new confirmation if necessary.

License validation failed?

• Re-enter the Serial Number, ensuing there are no trailing spaces.
• Double-check the Issue Date/Time and convert correctly between 24-hour and 12-hour formats if needed.
• Use the How to find my license information? button to verify the correct values.

CAPTCHA not accepted?

• Refresh the CAPTCHA and try again.
• Ensure your browser allows scripts and images on the page.

Uncertain about MFA options?

• We strongly recommend MFA with an OTP app for enhanced security. You can change this setting later in your account preferences.
