Setup, migration and update¶

To make the migration even more secure for you.
- You will be notified of the need for a backup before the migration/update in the setup.
- The rollback of the database migration is now optimized.
In order to offer you better support, the analysis options have now been improved.
To further improve your user experience, we now have:
- Stabilized the setup process (through changes in the web server, compare agent client assignment, LDAP synchronization, empty databases, use of special characters, license usage information).
- Further improved the readability of texts.

To provide you with improved comparison results:
- The selection of comparison devices by the system is improved.
- The S7 comparator is optimized.
- In the FTP upload, the handling of non-root directories is improved.
- In the Omron Sysmac compare the naming of changes is more clearly understandable.
- The WodFtp 3.5.5 is set as the default client library. (There is no need for you to change existing job configurations.)
To make your work easier, we have simplified the assignment of authorizations.
To provide you with the information you need, the offline help for device information has been updated.
