Activation of the software after installing or moving the versiondog server¶

After a versiondog server has been installed or moved to another computer, the software must be activated within 30 days. We recommend that you activate the software promptly so that you do not forget to do so, as the system will no longer be accessible after the 30-day period has expired.

Moving the versiondog server archive¶

To move a server archive, uninstall the versiondog server and then move the server archive to the desired location. Then reinstall the versiondog server and enter the new path for the server archive.
