Unlinking the parallel servers¶

To remove the link between two servers, for example if the ID has changed during a hardware replacement, proceed as follows:

1. Stop the VDog MasterService on both servers.
2. In the server archives of both servers, delete the VD$A\Configuration\Local\NamedTokens\ParallelServer file.
3. In the server archives of both servers, in the VD$A\Configuration\Local\AccessTokens.txt file only, delete the line that contains the entry (parallelserver paired) at the end.

Example:

As soon as the servers in the parallel server set are restarted, they are run in pairing mode again and are then automatically paired with the other server.
