Prerequisites

  • Two servers must be installed and accessible on two different systems.

    Server synchronization cannot be carried out for servers in a parallel server set.

  • The two servers must have the same versiondog version. Synchronization of servers with different versions is not possible.

  • The two servers must each have their own license (i.e. the serial numbers must be different).

  • Both licenses must contain the Server Synchronization add-on.

  • The license for the target server must ensure that it contains a sufficient number of components, users, jobs and SmartCompares for synchronization.

  • The user under which the server synchronization is executed must have administrative rights for both servers. The user's name and password must be the same on both servers.
