Generating access tokens

Access tokens for the versiondog server are used, for example, to run the ExportModule (see Export Module for more information).

Additional use cases for access tokens may be supported in the future.

To open the Personal Access Tokens dialog, select the Access tokens menu item in the main AdminClient window.

In the Existing tokens area, you can view the date, time, and a comment for each token that has already been created (if available).

To create a new token, select the Create button in the Generate token area. Optionally, you can enter a comment in the text field before generating the token.

The generated token appears in a separate area and is automatically copied to the clipboard.
