Generating access tokens¶

Access tokens to the versiondog server are currently, for example, to run the ExportModule. Other application scenarios for access tokens are also possible in the future.

The Personal Access Tokens dialog opens when you select the Access tokens menu item in the main AdminClient window.

In the Existing tokens area, the date, time and, if available, a comment of the tokens are displayed, which have already been created.

To create a token, select the Create button in the Generate token area. Optionally, you can enter a comment on the token in the text field of the area before creating a token.

The generated token is displayed in a separate area and copied to the clipboard.
