Working with upload types

You can set the upload type to be used for a job in the Job configuration area in the Jobs module. Depending on the upload type chosen for the job, you have to configure different parameters.

The upload type can be configured globally in the Upload type specific configuration dialog. Access this dialog by selecting Global job settings in the Home tab.

The following upload types are available in the Job configuration area. Note that the type of component you have will ultimately determine which upload types are available for the job.

• General upload types:

  • Local directory
  • UNC (network)
  • FTP
  • SSH

• Device-specific upload types are described under Supported devices (extended support).

• Upload types that are defined for services or functions and are not device-specific
