Reading the block comparison results

Reading the information provided at project level

  • Icon green Current: A block installed in a project is identical to its template from the standard library.
  • Icon yellow Outdated: A block installed in a project is no longer current. Its template in the standard library has been changed.
  • Icon red Invalid: A block installed in a project has been changed or deleted.
  • Icon gray Removed: A block has been deleted from the standard library.

If you delete the library linked to the projects and the binding is still present, the projects are displayed but no information about the blocks is provided.

Reading the information provided at block level in the Log tab

The Log tab shows the current status of a selected block in relation to its template from the standard library. If the block previously had a different status, this will also be displayed here. The information is displayed in chronological order. The status will be either:

  • Icon green Linked: The standard library block has been installed in the project.
  • Icon yellow Outdated: A newer version of the block is available in the standard library.
  • Icon red Unlinked: A block installed in the project has been changed or deleted.
  • Icon gray Library object removed: The block has been deleted from the standard library.

Information about the selected block is displayed on the Details tab, e.g. name, version or author. The data for the block version in the standard library and the version of the block used in the project are displayed next to each other.
