If more than one user is working with the latest version of a project at the same time, only one work status is sent to the server. The first execution of a Check-In prevents all others. Learn how to use a lock status to prevent other users from "overtaking" you.

Do you want to use a locking status?¶

You can combine several settings in versiondog to be reminded every time you Check-Out whether you want to use a lock status for the component. Sometimes it is needed, sometimes not. The important thing is to take the time to think about it. This little trick can help you get clarity and security when using versiondog.
