Create a versiondog service account and give it Administrative rights¶

When versiondog works with some devices, e.g. Atlas Copco or Siemens TIA Portal, it is necessary that the Vdog MasterService and the versiondog agents run with administrative rights. In this case, we recommend setting up a service account for this purpose only and configuring it accordingly. Simply follow the descriptions:

• 00:00: Check the status of the account under which versiondog is running
• 00:42: Create a new account with Administrative rights
• 02:53: Run the Vdog MasterService under the new account.
