Configuring comparisons

For CODESYS V2.X and CODESYS V3.X projects, you can add defined passwords for comparison if this may be necessary.

  1. Open the UserClient.
  2. Select the component you want to customize.
  3. Select the Edit tab in the menu bar or Edit component configuration in the context menu (right mouse button).
  4. Click on the Comparator configuration... button. The Comparison configuration dialog opens.
  5. If there are several projects in a component, select the corresponding project from the dropdown menu.

  6. Enter the passwords for reading and writing under File. Enter your user data under CODESYS user. Click on OK.

  7. Click on the Apply button to save the configuration.
