Creating jobs

  1. Start the AdminClient and open the Jobs module.
  2. Select your Sysmac Studio component in the Project tree.
  3. Click on the Create button in the ribbon or drag and drop the component into the Jobs area.
  4. Check whether the upload type Omron Sysmac Studio is displayed in the Job configuration area.
  5. Configure the general sections General, Notification, Upload and compare and Create a version automatically after job run. The sections Notification and Create a version automatically after job run are only displayed if the settings required for this have been made.
  6. Under Omron Sysmac Studio settings for multiple projects, select your Omron Sysmac Studio project for which the job is to be executed from the Project dropdown menu.

You can implement further settings for jobs of this upload type in the AdminClient in the Global settings dialog.

Warning

If the Start monitoring safety application checkbox is selected (in Sysmac Studio, go to Option > Safety > Monitoring safety applications > Start monitoring safety application), the upload will not work because you would have to manually close a dialog in the editor that appears during the upload.
