RSLogix 5
versiondog supports programmable logic controllers that work with the RSLogix 5 and PLC-5 software from Rockwell Automation and enables the cyclical monitoring of devices that have been configured with this development environment.

Other system requirements
- The version of RSLogix 5 (Standard and Professional Edition) software must be installed on the same computer as the versiondog server. If the software is installed on a different computer, an agent is required.
- Either RSLinx Classic or FactoryTalk Linx (formerly RSLinx Enterprise Edition) must be installed on the same computer as the versiondog server. If installed on another computer, an agent is required.
- If upgrading to FactoryTalk Linx, RSLinx Classic must be uninstalled first. Additionally, the communication path in the job configuration must be manually reconfigured.
- If using agents in a FactoryTalk Linx upgrade, ensure that the agent services are running with administrative privileges.
