Setting up uploads

The upload from the PLC-5 Controller cannot work if the MasterService is running under the user Local System. This service must be run under the administrator account or an account with administrative rights.

To check which account the MasterService is running under and change it if necessary:

  1. Open Windows Services.
    • Click the Windows Start button -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools and open Services OR
    • Press Win + R and type services.msc in the field.

  2. Locate the VDog MasterService and check under which account it is running. Figure: VDog MasterService, account

  3. To change the account, right-click on VDog MasterService and select Properties.

  4. Open the Login tab under Login to: and select This account.

  5. Enter Name and Password for the account.

  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Services dialog, right-click VDog MasterService and then click Restart to run the service with the new settings.

Start the backup job again.
