Configuring jobs for Schneider Concept

  1. Create a job with the Schneider Concept upload type.
  2. Go to the Schneider Concept settings section.
  3. If there is more than one Schneider Concept project in the component, select the project from the Project dropdown menu.
  4. Select the Access path. You can choose between PC >[TCP/IP] >PLC and PC -> [TCP/IP] -> Gateway -> [MODBUS+] -> PLC.
  5. The option BridgedModbusPlus is only available if you have selected the PC >[TCP/IP] > Gateway > [MODBUS+] > PLC access path.
  6. Enter the IP address or the name of the Device.
  7. Under Advanced you can set a delay of 0ms to 5000ms with the Waiting time between two subsequent packets (in ms) option. The default value is 0ms. Higher values are recommended if interference or transmission errors occur.

FAQ

Why does the error message with the ID 126 error code occur during Check-in, upload or comparison?

The following error message with the error code ID 126 may occur when checking in components with or without a base version, during upload and during comparison in the UserClient

The error message indicates that the MSVCR1 Library for Schneider Concept must be installed.

You can add it manually as described below.

  1. Stop the VDog MasterService under Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.

  2. Copy the msvcr71.dll file from the Directory with the current installation files, subdirectory \tools\Microsoft (example: Z:\versiondog 9.0.0\9_0_0_0\tools\Microsoft)

  3. Paste the copied file in the program directory into the vdogServer and vdogClient or, if you are using agents, vdogAgents. (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\vdogServer, C:\Program Files (x86)\vdogClient or C:\Program Files (x86)\vdogAgents)

  4. Restart the VDog MasterService.
