Schneider Unity Pro is the development environment for the Modicon M340, M580, Premium, Momentum and Quantum controllers from Schneider Electric SA. This documentation describes the interaction of Schneider Unity Pro with versiondog and is intended to enable the user to work with this system.

Schneider Unity Pro is called EcoStruxure Control Expert as of Schneider firmware V14.
A basic knowledge of the concepts of the versiondog system and experience in working with Schneider Unity Pro is required.

Other requirements
- If you want to create backup jobs for Schneider Unity Pro and use multiple versions of Schneider Unity Pro, you must use Upload and Compare agents.
- To integrate projects, the editor must be installed on the same computer on which the server or an agent is running. The version of the local editor must correspond to the version of the editor with which the project was created.
- If you update your editor from an earlier version to version 14 or higher, the component type of the versiondog component must be adapted to Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert.
