Requirements

  • Power Focus 4000 system

    • To carry out uploads and comparisons, a compatible version of the editor must be installed on the same computer on which the server or an agent is running.
    • The upload is carried out using the commandline tool ttpf.exe (ToolsTalk Power Focus 4000) from Atlas Copco. This tool must be installed, licensed and running on the computer (server or agent) carrying out the upload.
  • To perform uploads for Atlas Copco nutrunner controls, the executing service must run under a specific user account that is a member of the Administrators group.
Uploads will fail if the VDog MasterService, VDog UploadAgent, or VDog CompareAgent services are running under the LocalSystem account.

  • For Atlas Copco nutrunner controls, you must launch either the agent or the VDog MasterService (depending on which one is used) as an application.

For detailed instructions, see Starting agents and VDog MasterService as applications

Integration features

  • Custom component type
  • Integrated Atlas Copco project tree
  • Consistent change history
  • Automated backup for disaster recovery
  • Automated monitoring of differences between the program on the controller and the current version on the server (detailed comparison: prev. backup <-> backup, server version <-> backup)
