Saving backups and revision files for RSLogix 5000

RSLogix 5 creates its own backups and revision files.

By default, versiondog ignores these files (with the extension \*\_BAK???.acd) when comparing and creating new versions (i.e. these backups are not included in the versioned files).

To change this, delete the line \*\_BAK???.acd in the Component type editor module in the Ignore these files during the comparison section.

Info

This change will be applied to all other components of this type in your project. The size of your archive will grow rapidly with each new change and may cause disk space problems on your server.

As an alternative, if you only want to add a previous backup to a version or data backup, you can rename the \_BAK???.\* file in your project folder. If you change or remove the BAK part of the file name, the file will no longer be ignored. It will be added to the version and backed up by versiondog.
