Configuring a project for restore

Before downloading the Schneider Unity Pro project to the device, the project must be configured so that additional data is downloaded to the device. These changes must be made before downloading to the device so that a backup is created with which a restore can be performed.

  1. Open the project in the Schneider Unity editor.
  2. Click on Extras.

  3. Click on Project settings....

  4. Navigate to General > Data embedded in PLC.

  5. Select the options Readout information and Comments. (Also select the option Animation tables if you need them).

  6. Click Apply, then OK and then download the project to the device as usual.

The Self-locking option of Schneider Unity Pro cannot be compared with the comparison during the backup process.
